Throughout spring, summer, and fall, one of the best things to do in Kentucky is visit a local farm. They are the backbone of our state and many have been around for generations. In more recent years, some farms have opened their gates to welcome in the public for a farmers market, activities, education, festivals, and more. In Bowling Green, one of the best family farms to visit is Jackson’s Orchard. They offer delicious produce and fun activities all season long and the treats and cider slushies from this charming Kentucky orchard are ridiculously refreshing.
