The 5 Wackiest Restaurants In Kansas Where Dining Is A Blast
It’s high time for Kansans to regain their sense of fun. It’s not every day that you happen upon a restaurant with a gimmick or theme that’s just a little odd. Live a little! Not every restaurant needs to be the same as all the others- calm and quiet. Whether it’s weird in general or just unique, these are the wackiest restaurants Kansas has to offer. Have you been to all of them?
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The Swedish Crown is located in the beautiful town of Lindsborg, and doesn't shy away from any Swedish stereotypes. In fact, you'll find that horned helmets and little plastic swords are all to welcome here for you to try at your special event. Enjoy a delicious meal and make memories to last a lifetime.

Fritz's is a Kansas legend, with a couple restaurants located in the KC area. Anyone can call in their own order at the table-side phone, and wait for a miniature train to come chugging along with their meal. It's a must-have experience that every Kansan should try once.

This wacky restaurant is more cool than odd, because you can catch a glimpse of planes landing right next to the restaurant while you eat! They fly in right next to you, all while you enjoy a delicious meal and gaze at the aircraft themed decor.

This beautiful restored train is now used for musical dining and mystery theater experiences as well. Dinner is always a blast on a well decorated train ride as you enjoy live entertainment. They can also be booked for weddings!

Assaria is home to a beautiful restaurant called The Renaissance Cafe, but you won't believe what's inside. Not only are the walls covered in vintage shades of brown and beige artwork, but the restaurant looks out over an old basketball court. The restaurant is housed in an old high school building built in 1919, and hopefully sees many more years of use.
