The Hometown Kansas Restaurant Serving Everything A Kansan Needs
We all love finding new great restaurants to add to our bucket lists, especially if they serve more than one of our favorite dishes. We can never get enough of a hometown Kansas restaurant that serves all of our favorites, honestly. This restaurant just happens to be a brewery as well! Let’s check today’s feature out.
Welcome to the Blind Tiger, a restaurant in Topeka, Kansas that just might have everyone's favorite item on the menu.
The odd name of this restaurant is inspired by the prohibition era in two ways. Tiger refers the custom of speakeasies displaying stuffed or china tigers to alert people in the know that they also sold alcohol under the table. Blind, for all the officials who blind to what was happening behind the scenes.
To go with craft beer, good country cooking is by far the best option. You'll find that this restaurant is a great place to order dishes like steak, chicken fried, pasta, prime rib, and more.
Next time you're in the mood for some good home style cooking, the Blind Tiger is open from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
