Whether you believe in setting up your tree the day after Halloween, or you wait until Thanksgiving is over to get into the holiday spirit, there’s no denying that driving around looking at Christmas Lights is one of the highlights of anyone’s holiday season. One spot in Mount Pleasant has been lighting up locals lives for years, and you’ll want to plan a drive through the best light show in the Midwest as soon as it opens in late November.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. This year, the drive-through Festival of Lights will be open November 15-18, 22-25, 29-30, and December 1-2, 6-9, 12-31, 2018. Each night, the festival drive is open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You’ll find the display at 405 E Thresher Rd, Mt Pleasant, IA 52641.

Admission is just $10 for cars, $15 for mini vans, $25 for limos (if you want to get fancy!) and $30/$60 for a mini coach or a motor coach. Santa Claus himself will be there to greet families on the following dates:

Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23
