Just outside of the Indianapolis Museum of Art is a 100-acre park that is a gallery all its own. Creative projects, exhibits, and educational events take place here throughout the year.
One of the largest art parks in the country, the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park includes many pieces of artwork that are functional to wildlife, such as bird feeders and nests.
In addition to art, guests will find woodlands, wetlands, meadows, and a 35-acre lake that offers immaculate views. Nature lovers will enjoy hiking the trails that wind throughout the grounds.
New pieces are always being added to this unique outdoor museum of art. Everything you see is interactive, and everyone is welcome to climb and explore each piece. Some were even designed to be play sets.
