One Of The Most Rustic Restaurants In Indiana Is Also One Of The Most Delicious
Nestled in the hills of Brown County (literally, the county most often referred to as the “most beautiful” by numerous sources) is an adorable, rustic little mom-and-pop restaurant that is more than deserving of the cult following it has. Locals know where to find the most amazing food in the area, and that’s at the Farmhouse Cafe and Tea Room. The menu is diverse, artisan, and absolutely delectable; you’re sure to adore this little rustic restaurant in Indiana as much as we do, and you’ll find yourself drawn back time and time again.
This little nosh spot looks and feels like something out of a countryside fairy tale, and it's nestled on the grounds of another local staple, the Flower & Herb Barn.
Good luck deciding what you want the first time you come by; the menu is filled end-to-end with amazingly rich, flavorful comfort food that you'll crave every day long after you pay the bill.
The menu is diverse, offering lighter fare like soup, salad, and sandwiches, but plenty of hearty meals like steaks, chops, and seafood as well.
Considering the Farmhouse is a much-beloved local staple, they STRONGLY recommend reservations, which can be obtained by calling 812.988.2004. The further ahead, the better - but we get it if you're too excited for your visit to wait that long.
....and don't forget to leave plenty of room (it's hard, we know) for dessert.
Like everything else on the menu, each dessert is prepared right in-house and filled with lots of love.
This adorable rustic restaurant in Indiana books up quick, as we said, so make sure to remember those reservations! For more about the Farmhouse Cafe and Tea Room, make sure to visit the official website.
