There's Something Incredible About These 10 Rivers In Indiana

Not going to lie, when I started working on this update I wasn’t really sure how many rivers there even were in Indiana. Keep in mind, I lack a reliable car, I have a special needs toddler, and at the moment I’m also six months pregnant – you add that to the fact that I live in the city and I just don’t get the pleasure of seeing the more beautiful aspects of the state.
That being said, I did some research and I learned we have TONS of rivers in Indiana and some of them are pretty incredible. I did some digging and found some pretty pictures of these rivers to share with you!
The Big Blue River is a little more than 80 miles long. The river passes through the following towns: New Castle, Knightstown, Carthage, Morristown, Shelbyville, and Edinburgh.
I know, this is a creek – not a river. But, it's technically listed in several directories as a "river of Indiana". It's also fairly large for it to be "just a creek," so I decided to include it anyway. This creek is a little more than 50 miles long and it travels through Warren and Benton counties.
You might argue that Fawn River is technically located in Michigan. While it's true Michigan tends to lay claim on this river, it's also partly located in the northeastern portion of Indiana as well. You can find portions of the river in Steuben County near the Pokagon State Park.
White River is the name of a two forked river that flows through southern and central Indiana. The river is roughly 362. The picture displayed is of the White River Dam.
