Perhaps the most famous visitor to the historic Log Inn is the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln’s visit to this famous restaurant occurred in November of 1844 on his way back from a campaign tour in Evansville.
The Log Inn has also served as a famous site throughout history, including a stop along the Underground Railroad. This restaurant was also a main stagecoach stop throughout the 1840s. For a place crammed with historical references, you can’t do better than The Log Inn.
