One such town is the delightful little town known as Shipshewana, an amazingly magical Christmas town in Indiana that must be experienced to be believed. The holiday season starts almost right away after Halloween; in early November, attend the Shipshewana Christmas light parade, followed shortly thereafter by a tree lighting ceremony.

The annual Chocolate Day, typically in mid-November, is one of the sweetest traditions in town. Head to Aunt Millie's Candy & Nut Shop and get a one-of-a-kind chocolate box before wandering through town collecting chocolates to fill it with. It's the definition of pure magic.
