Here Are 10 Spots In Indiana You Must Explore This Winter
Are you getting sick of these winter and Christmas articles now? I hope not. Winter just does such beautiful things to our beautiful state. You have to make yourself get out there. Just put your coat on and go. There are tons of beautiful spots in Indiana you must explore this winter. In fact, here are a few of my favorites. Will you check them out?

The Veal Ice Tree is located at 11333 Southeastern Avenue in Indianapolis. Once the temperatures drop a little more consistently in the Hoosier state, this is one of the MUST SEE spots in the state. This gorgeous ice covered tree is unbelievable.



I know, this is not really so much a place as a hobby. There are so many places in Indiana that are gorgeous in the winter. Trees, barns, and even churches look great when they are under a blanket of snow. Don't they?

Naturally, there are tons of cities and towns. I can't list all of them or we would be here forever. Bloomington is one of many that has gorgeous lights during the Christmas season.

The Conner Prairie Interactive History Park is always a fun attraction to visit regardless of the season. Visiting during December, you can learn about the holiday treats, games, and gifts that were offered and played nearly 200 years ago.



2015 is marks the second year the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center has hosted the Festival of Trees. It features 50 Christmas trees fully decorated in 50 different designs. It is a beautiful attraction to see around Christmas time.




Shireman Homestead is an incredible place to make memories with your family during the Holidays. You can bring your kids to spend time with Santa and his barn friends.

Lake Monroe, near Bloomington, looks great with a sheet of ice on top of it. It is definitely worth checking out!

Lake Michigan and the Indiana Dunes is normally a place you would think to go in the summer. Interestingly enough, it is just as beautiful in the winter. You just might need a few extra layers during the winter months.
