This Indiana Amish Village Is An Old World Paradise You’ll Never Want To Leave
Experience a unique yet simple Hoosier lifestyle with roots in the Old World. This Amish village in the tiny town of Montgomery is situated in the middle of nowhere, making it perfect for a relaxing trip away from it all.

Opened as a restaurant in 1988 by the descendent of an Old Order Amish family, the point of this unique village is to preserve Amish heritage and share it with the public. The hotel was added in 1997 and there is also a 25-acre lake.

Each store is open daily. Though hours vary slightly, most are open between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The bakery is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The restaurant is open daily. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.

Guests also receive breakfast and easy access to all the wonderful things to do in the village. Room rates start around $77 per night for a room with either two queen/double beds or one king bed. There are also a couple of larger rooms with sitting areas that cost about $121 per night.
