Riley's Railhouse in northwest Indiana is a converted train station that is now a bed & breakfast. If you love trains and history, you'll want to add this getaway to your bucket list.

Situated in the old 1914 New York Central Freight Station, this hotel contains a large collection of railroad antiques, memorabilia, and art. There is much to see and enjoy right at the inn.

The original train station opened in 1852 but burnt to the ground in 1913 before being rebuilt.

There are several different options for accommodations. The main rooms are the Upper Berth and Lower Berth, the latter of which has a queen-size bed and costs between $120 and $140 per night. The Upper Berth has a king-size bed, kid's loft, full sofa bed, and a balcony. The cost is $140 to $160 per night.

There are also boxcar rooms at this railroad-themed hotel. Each sleeps one to four people and cost between $140 and $160 per night. There are a queen bed and two twin beds in each room.

Riley's Railhouse also offers The Lounge as an event space. Seating about 50 people, the space includes a fireplace, outdoor deck, and a large bar.
