The village of Arthur is a perfect day trip destination with the oldest and largest Amish community in the state and offers a museum, restaurants, bakeries, and more. And if you’ve ever been to a restaurant here, you probably had something delicious; and, chances are, you wanted to try more. Yoder’s Kitchen is one place that offers a delectable Amish buffet in Illinois, and you absolutely need to try it the next time you visit Arthur.
Yoder's Kitchen is found in Arthur in the heart of Illinois' Amish country. The village is a step back in time where you will see horse-drawn buggies traveling the streets.
If you're looking to try some mouthwatering Amish food while in Arthur, Yoder's Kitchen hosts its lunch and dinner buffets on Monday through Saturday and a breakfast buffet on Friday and Saturday.
The lunch and dinner buffets offer roasted chicken, dressing, chicken and noodles, and gravy daily. And then there are several different items as well as soups that are rotated each day.
For example, on Mondays, you will see sauerkraut and Polish sausage on the lunch buffet line and on Tuesdays, ham and beans will be offered instead. You could come here every day of the week and try something different!
