This Vintage Harvest Festival In Illinois Is Massive And You Won’t Want To Miss It
Shopaholics unite for a unique market that marks the beginning of fall. This vintage harvest festival celebrates all things relating to autumn and a time long gone. If you love antiques. crafts, and other decor, you’ll definitely want to spend time at this vendor fair. Check it out:
The Hobnob Harvest Market is a Southern Illinois tradition that involves vendors of all sorts of goods. Taking place September 7-8, 2018, this event offers everything from music to giveaways.
You know an even is big when it takes place at the Effingham County Fairgrounds in Altamont. Join hundreds of other locals as you wade through barns, down lanes, and under the tents of more than 100 vendors.
Earlybird shopping is offered on the first day of the event, known as The Prairie/Harvest Moon Party. On Friday, the admission price is $10, and if you buy tickets in advance, you'll get to attend on Saturday as well for no added cost. The market will be open this day from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Buying a ticket for this day will also get you entered into the giveaway. The winner will receive SWAG and $250 to spend at this vintage harvest festival.
The admission price is $5 for Saturday, also known as Market Day, and the booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors will find boutique clothing, handmade goods, vintage decor, and much more.
Kids under the age of 12 are admitted for free either day.
There will also be delicious food and drink available. Be sure to bring cash for the bar and an empty stomach for all the delicious eats you're going to encounter.
