The Baby Fold's Festival of Lights will take place November 16-18, 2018 at the Interstate Center in Bloomington. This is the 25th year for the family-fun event, which features a silent auction.
Guests have the option of participating in the Christmas tree auction or purchasing items at the buy-it-now price. Winners of the auction will be announced on Sunday, the final day of the festival.
Other events around the Festival of Trees include a breakfast on Friday morning. Tickets are $30 and include general admission to the festival all weekend along. There is also a breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning that costs $10 for adults and $8 for kids between the ages of 3 and 12.
An additional special event is Avanti's Family Night, which consists of an Italian dinner for $10 for adults and $4 for kids. Dinner includes pasta, salad, and bread and will be served on November 16, 2018.
Throughout the festival, local sponsors will be available with fun treats and surprises. Get cookies from Country Financial, coffee from Drake Family Dental, and much more.
This event attracts about 9,500 attendants each year and is put on with the support of about 700 volunteers. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Get your tickets online ahead of time through the festival's website (link below).
Early-bird general admission tickets for adults cost $7 ($8 after November 16). Children between ages 3 and 12 may enter for $2 while those younger may enter for free. Senior citizens who wish to attend on Saturday may buy a ticket for just $5.
