If there’s anything other states get jealous about when they think of Illinois, it’s our pizza chains. From north to south, the state is full of pizzerias so delicious, they had to open multiple locations.
We’ll admit that most of these 10 joints come out of the Chicago area, but you’ll still find plenty that abound in the Central and Southern Regions as well. Read on for all the best pizza there is in Illinois.
1. Angelo's Pizzeria
With just four locations in the state, this is a restaurant that even Illinoisans wish they had more of. Rock Falls, Sterling, and Dixon are the lucky towns that have easy access to this great pizza. 2. Sarpino's Pizzeria
With dozens of locations in the city and the Chicagoland area, this is one of the best pizza chains in the state. They offer free delivery and are open late, so it's perfect if you'e coming home from the bars and need a bite before bed. Anything from calzones to cheese bread, and more can be found on their generous menu.
3. Monical's Pizza
Though mostly found in Illinois, there are a few of these pizzerias in Indiana too, as well as ones in Missouri and Wisconsin. It is best known for its thin crust pizza and competes with places like Pizza Hut and Domino's.
4. Rosati's Pizza
Some states don't have to be jealous of this amazing eatery. It has locations across nearly a dozen states, but most are in Illinois. This is the best place to get a Chicago deep-dish outside of Chicago, but it also serves sandwiches, appetizers, desserts, and much much more.

When you're looking for a classic Chicago pizza, this eatery is your best friend. Known for its buttery crust and gooey cheese, you'll mostly find this delicacy in and around the city. Lucky places like Phoenix and Arlington as well as Lake Geneva are blessed with one location each.

This may very well be Chicago's most popular pizza chain and it has more than 60 locations around the nation, some of which can be found in half a dozen other states. Known for their stuffed pizza, this massive pie fills you up after just once slice and is a favorite for all who try it.
8. Home Run Inn Pizza
You can find this delicious pizzeria around the city and its suburbs. Though often overshadowed by the deep-dish kings, this is actually a local favorite that should be more widespread. Not everyone wants a hearty slice of pie. This place answers that call.
9. Lou Malnati's
This timeless restaurant has locations throughout Chicagoland, and many who visit the city must go here each time. They are known for their butter crust and delicious appetizers. There's no shame in being jealous that your state doesn't have one of these.

Central Illinois is the lucky section of the state that gets to indulge in this wonderful pizza whenever they want.
