Cutting right through Idaho Falls' historic downtown, the River Walk is a paved trail system that flanks both sides of the Snake River for five miles. It's a beloved trail among everybody including joggers, cyclists, pedestrians, rollerbladers—you name it.
The trail offers unimpeded views of this iconic river. However, the centerpiece of this stellar walking trail is the view of the falls for which the city gets its name. The 600-foot-wide falls is an extraordinary sight to see, and you'll get closer than ever to it on this trail.
