The garden was founded in 1994 by a small group of passionate gardeners and environmentalists. It was created as a place where the community can come to understand and explore plant life, and it has inspired countless nature lovers since its inception.
There are several sections of the garden to explore. One of the most photogenic spots can be found in the Garden of Infinite Compassion. Created in 2005 to honor the visit of the Dalai Lama to the Wood River Valley, this quiet spot is just as magical as it sounds.
