It may be considered one of the most secluded restaurants in the entire state, but trust us. It’s worth the drive! You’ll be blown away once you get a taste of their food. This place is even bound to become one of your new favorite places to grab a nice juicy steak. You’ll have to travel off the beaten path, but it’s well worth it. Take a look.
Located in Island Park, you'll find the famous Boondocks Restaurant by turning onto Yale-Kilgore Road from Highway 20 and traveling approximatley 4 miles. This place is quite literally located in the middle of nowhere.
We're serious. Surrounding the restaurant are miles upon miles of nothingness...just plain gorgeous Idaho scenery. The restaurant is remote, but you're about to find out why it's one of the most popular places to grab a bite in eastern Idaho.
The restaurant resembles a log cabin, and it's just as cozy. Upon walking through the door, you'll instantly feel right at home. It's these types of restaurants that make small town living so special.
The interior of the restaurant is covered in western decor. It's a little kitschy, but in a perfectly charming way. This place is absolutely enchanting, but you haven't even experienced the best part yet.

It may take a little more effort to visit Boondocks during winter, but it's totally worth it to see this snowy scene. This place is truly like something out of a dream.
