This year, the Activity Barn is targeted to open for the season on Friday, December 11, weather conditions permitting. Once open, their regular hours will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. But be sure to check their website for extra holiday hours!
There are all types of snowy fun to be had at the Activity Barn, but snow tubing is one of the most popular attractions. Featuring up to six 800-foot tubing lanes that have been sculpted into mini half-pipes, it's considered one the best tubing spots in the state.
Riding down the tubing hill at top speeds is a winter thrill that never gets old. Once at the bottom, simply take the "magic carpet" conveyor lift back to the top to do it again. Tubing sessions are available in two-hour increments and costs $20 plus tax.
Another awesome feature of the Activity Barn is the groomed trail that's great for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Whether you're a first-timer or an experienced trekker, the loop trail always has an amazing adventure in store. Plus, it's free to use.
You can even try your hand at biking in the snow, as the Activity Barn offers fat bike rentals for $25 for a two-hour session. Snowshoes are also available to rent for $8 for one hour and $12 for two hours. The fun never ends!
