Maui Mike’s Is A Hole-In-The-Wall Eatery In Hawaii With Some Of The Best Chicken In Town

You know the saying, “don’t judge a book by its cover?” Of course, you do, but we bet you didn’t know it also applies to restaurants — especially in Hawaii. While there’s little not to love about the island’s luxury oceanfront restaurants (except maybe the cost), we’d rather visit the islands’ hole-in-the-wall eateries that serve up scrumptious food — like Maui Mike’s!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

Maui Mike’s Fire-Roasted Chicken has two Oahu locations: in Wahiawa on Kamehameha Highway, which is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and in Kailua at the Enchanted Lake Center, which is open from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information, visit their website or follow them on Facebook
