It’s human nature to assume that if something is really good, it will require a lot of effort to get it. When it comes to hikes, this is often true. After all, great views are often at the summit of treacherous mountains, and it’s not unusual for the best overlooks to require long, arduous treks to reach them. Luckily, we have plenty of easy trails in Georgia that manage to not be particularly long or strenuous, but still provide fantastic views! One of our favorites is the Iron Hill Trail at Red Top Mountain State Park near Cartersville. This trail won’t take you all day, but still has amazing scenery that will keep you motivated to keep going, even if you’re not the most experienced or fittest of hikers.
