Red Oak Lavender Farm in Dahlonega is the largest lavender farm in the entire state of Georgia.
Picture more than 3,000 lavender plants of all different varieties, open to the public to pick and peruse.
While it was unsure for a while whether or not certain aspects of Georgia would be reopening any time soon, the good news is that this farm is open and ready for business.
Do you need to relax and relieve some stress during these difficult times? The good news is lavender can absolutely help.
The general public can visit the farm and explore the rows upon rows of lavender — plus pick their own lavender, too.
What’s even better, is that the owners have waived the usual admission fee, and instead are taking donations for the "No One Alone Domestic Violence Shelter” in town.
Visitors can also visit the on-site store too, and shop the pre-picked lavender plants and homemade goods throughout.
The farm also grows different varieties of flowers outside of lavender, but many of which won’t be ready until the summer hits.
Head on over to the Red Oak Lavender Farm for an exciting day out in the sunshine picking fresh flowers.
