Most People Don’t Know These 7 Epic Castles Are Hiding Right Here In Georgia
When you think of castles, you probably think of medieval times. And you almost definitely don’t think of the state of Georgia. But you don’t need to go to Ireland or France to see castles – there are at least 7 magnificent ones right here in GA. Check them out.

This castle is located in Grantville, Georgia. It's now closed down and there have even been reports of ghosts and hauntings within. It's also said that Roosevelt stayed there many times.

his castle resides in the beautiful mountains of Blue Ridge, GA. For about 2.4 million this home can be yours. It includes a 70 acre property with 14 foot ceilings and indoor pool. It even comes with its own stocked pond and equestrian trails.

This one is located in Newton County, Georgia on Hwy 81. It has 5 towers and 5 levels. It's relatively new with construction having started in 1990.

Take me back to the stone ages! This castle has its own moat and dwarfs protecting its premises. The moat doubles as a swimming pool for the private residents according to neighbors.

The Oakhurst Castle goes back to the Civil War and is located in Atlanta.

Dubbed the ‘”castle on Peachtree” this grand palace was once the home of furniture magnate Amos G. Rhodes. It is also the headquarters for the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation.

This castle is located in Cloudland, GA, and is priced at a hefty 5 million. It was built by Dale and Lee Werner, and is a whopping 58,000 sq. feet.
