Looking for a great getaway in the Peach State? Our state parks in Georgia are wonderful places to escape your worries, get some exercise, and enjoy our natural scenery – and you can do it all at the same time! One of our favorite state parks is Unicoi, just outside of Helen. This 1,050-acre oasis truly has it all. There are waterfalls, mountains, hiking trails, a campground, and even a lodge and two restaurants right on site. You can easily enjoy a whole several-day getaway without ever leaving the park!
