There’s no shortage of breweries in Georgia. The craft brewing industry is huge here, and you’ll find plenty of great beer makers all over the state. One place in Georgia that was, until very recently, lacking in craft breweries is the city of Thomasville. This city in South Georgia isn’t too far from the Florida state line. It’s home to about 18,000 people and is the county seat of Thomas County. This is a charming city that feels smaller than it is, and it’s actually been named the friendliest town in Georgia. There’s a thriving downtown area here, with plenty of great shop and businesses to check out, but until early 2023, there was no local brewery. All of that changed when Tvelo Brewing opened up.
