This Tiny Shop In Wyoming Serves Chocolate To Die For

This tiny shop is probably one of Wyoming's best kept secrets and has certainly helped put Meeteetse on the map. People come from far and wide to taste the artisan chocolate that is handmade and sold in this shop. This is an American success story of a man who went from being a cowboy to a well known Chocolatier. You've heard of death by chocolate? Well, this chocolate in the Wild, Wild West is to die for.

The story behind this business is an interesting one. Back in 2004, in order to raise money for a new bronc saddle, Tim Kellogg's mother suggested he make truffles and brownies to sell at the Cody Stampede. Reluctantly, he did and the rest is history!

Tim Kellogg started his own business and established Meeteetse Chocolatier. This unique chocolate shop is a very classy store in the heart of the Wild West located at 1946 State Street in Meeteetse. The tiny shop is designed with a nice patio where you can sit outside and enjoy the delicious chocolate treats.

Everything in the shop is handmade daily. The chocolate is made with the finest ingredients which means no artificial ingredients or preservatives.

Some of their chocolates include hand-dipped flavored truffles, fudge, brownies and molded chocolate in seasonal shapes.

Not only are they an asset in the community as far as offering tasty treats, but this business gives back in other ways as well. They are an environmentally friendly business and they are working toward becoming a zero waste business. They also provide support to the community by sponsoring and donating to many groups, charities and organizations.

Meeteetse Chocolatier is every chocolate lover's dream. If you don't believe me, watch this video by YouTube user, Wyoming Forever West.
