Who owns Fox & Hounds? The story of this restaurant starts way back in 1845 when the first clerk of Washington County built a one-room log cabin in the rugged terrain of the Kettle Moraine.

About 90 years later, an avid horseman named Ray Wolf restored the cabin and opened a basement bar. He opened the establishment to fellow equestrians and in 1933 launched the restaurant that is still around today.

The restaurant is located in Hubertus, Wisconsin. It’s just a couple miles from one of the most beautiful and photographed spots in the state – the Holy Hill Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians.
