In the small town of Shawano, you’ll find one of the state’s sweetest shops, Old Glory Candy.
Though opened in 2013, it’s reminiscent of the candy shops that were so popular years ago.
Set foot inside, and you’re sure to feel like a kid in a candy store – and that’s the point. When designing Old Glory Candy, the owners aimed to create a place where kids can be kids and adults can be kids again.
The charming shop is bursting with sweetness. To elaborate, there are more than 250 different kinds of candy!
Among the massive sweet selection, you’ll find an impressive variety, which includes fresh homemade fudge that’s made right at the shop.
A customer favorite, the fudge is made with real cream and butter and contains only the finest ingredients.
And just like candy stores of the past, this one features lots of bulk candy – more than 50 kinds to be exact.
The perfect mix of past and present, the store carries 16 flavors of Jelly Bellies, along with lots of novelty candies, which are sure to bring up some feelings of nostalgia.
In addition to sweet staples, there are also holiday-themed treats, which change with the seasons.
