4. Greece e Spoon
These guys get the award for the most creative name, that's for sure. Who knew Sheboygan would have an awesome Greek restaurant? It's great Greek food with some twists. For example, try the pistachio baklava or the honey and feta fries. Opa!
5. Fortune Cookie
So if you head to Menomonie you should...eat Chinese food? Well, yeah. Head to Fortune Cookie. It's not a fancy place, but the food is solid. It's fresh, like the cream cheese wantons each made by hand. Folks also love the aromatic chicken.
6. Kusaka
*Please note, Kusaka is no longer open. We've profiled these guys before, and with good reason. It's hard enough to find good Japanese food in a major metropolitan area. So it is very special to find awesome Japanese in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. But maybe you're still hesitant to try new things? Why not try their dish called Zadeshi? It's got brats in it (you know what those are). Yum!
7. Alem Ethiopian Village
If you've never had Ethiopian food before, it's not just dining but an experience. Just look at this gorgeous, colorful plate of food. Experience flavors you haven't experienced before--bold, but somehow familiar. You'll have to come to Milwaukee for this treat.
8. Norske Nook
With our Scandinavian roots, this food might not feel foreign to us, but it is. Since 1973, Norske Nook has been showcasing Norwegian cooking at its finest. People rave about the lefse wraps. But we all know you come here for the award-winning pie. They have several locations across western Wisconsin.
9. Nukeo Thai Restaurant
I'm a complete spoiled brat about Thai food, having eaten awesome authentic Thai growing up. So when I say Nukeo is good...it's good. All dishes are made from scratch each time and use fresh ingredients. Just FYI - if you want it spicy, your lips will tingle! Located in Green Bay.
These sure are delicious. What is your favorite place to get ethnic food? Let us know in the comments.
