The Gigantic Prime Rib At Wisconsin’s Black Otter Supper Club Is A Carnivore’s Dream Come True      

At Black Otter Supper Club in Wisconsin, it’s always prime (rib) time! A must-visit for carnivores, the eatery is the home of the 160-ounce Extreme Cut Prime Rib. In addition to giant prime ribs, the menu includes a variety of other steaks as well as seafood, pork, and chicken. Oh, and did we mention there’s a soup and salad bar? Take a look:

Worth every mile it takes to get to, the Black Otter Supper Club is located in the small town of Hortonville.

Open since 1972, the eatery has had plenty of time to perfect its specialty – prime rib. But not just any prime rib…

...Black Otter Supper Club is known for serving up gigantic prime ribs.

So, just how gigantic are we talking about? Well, the largest is the Extreme Cut Prime Rib, which is a whopping 160 ounces!

There’s also the Super Cut Prime Rib, which at 116 ounces, is the second largest prime rib on the menu.

Both the Extreme Cut and Super Cut Prime Ribs are part of food challenges, which require that you finish off the entire steak all by yourself.

Anyone who finishes the Extreme Cut will get a $20 gift certificate, photo on the “wall of fame,” and a t-shirt. And those who are able to scarf down the Super Cut will get a t-shirt and picture on the “wall of fame.”

Not all the prime ribs are abnormally large, though. The menu also includes the 32-ounce Queen Cut and the 72-ounce King Cut. And while the prime ribs vary in size, they’re all slow-roasted for several hours and served with au jus.

Though one of the most popular options, prime rib isn’t the only steak you’ll find on the menu. The tasty selection also includes tenderloin, Black Angus rib-eye, and Porterhouse.

No matter which steak you order, it’ll come with the potato of your choice along with limitless trips to the soup and salad bar, which is brimming with hot soups and fresh fixings.

Of course, you don’t have to eat steak at all. The expansive menu features a variety of seafood, pork, chicken, and more.

It may be the Black Otter Supper Club's unique appearance that initially attracts diners, but it's without a doubt the massive prime ribs and other tasty dishes that keep them coming back!
