The Unassuming Milwaukee Restaurant That Serves The Best Seafood You’ve Ever Tried

No matter the time of year, seafood is an amazing choice. Luckily, Milwaukee has endless options for spectacular seafood, despite only being a coastal city via lake! This unassuming restaurant in the Bay View neighborhood is especially spectacular and will give you an experience unlike any other. Get ready to have the best seafood around in the most unique atmosphere you can find!

Welcome to Barnacle Bud's!

This fun, neighborhood seafood shack is unlike any other. Located directly on the Kinnickinnic River, you'll feel like you're eating coastal.

This unassuming spot almost feels like a getaway.

The restaurant can be a little hard to find, but well worth the search. It's located along warehouses in an industrial area, but once you hit the river, you'll find a hidden gem of a lifetime.

Barnacle Bud's is the go-to place for outdoor dining. You can even ride your boat up to the restaurant!

Families are advised to be careful with kids; the restaurant is located right on the river and there are *not* railings.

As far as the food, it's hard to find better seafood in Milwaukee.

Whether you're going with the chef's special (which is always a good choice,) crab legs, or a po-boy sandwich, you're sure to be in seafood heaven.

Of course, it wouldn't be a true MKE restaurant without brunch.

On Sunday's, Barnacle Bud's serves up a truly unique brunch that is also seafood inspired. Top it off with an incredible Bloody Mary, and you're set!

If you're craving oysters, grouper, or any other crustaceans, it's all right here.

There's simply no other place to get seafood this good, in an atmosphere that has you feeling like you're oceanside.

This nautically-themed riverside spot is an experience to be had. You must see it for yourself!

Barnacle Bud's is located at 1955 S. Hilbert St., Milwaukee.
