A diner with a hint of doo-wop, Miss Katie’s Diner boasts an undeniable retro theme, making it “one of Wisconsin’s most famous 50s diners.”

Nods to the decade can be found just about everywhere - from the furniture to the décor.

There's even a pinball machine and vintage 18-foot shuffleboard table (behind the counter).

In business for decades, the diner has long been known to locals. And in 1996, when President Bill Clinton and then German Chancellor Helmut Kohl held an impromptu luncheon at the diner, it became known around the world.

Though deserving of its widespread fame based on its charmingly retro setting alone, that’s not the only thing the diner has going for it.

The fare, which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, is just as impressive as the vintage ambiance.

A favorite breakfast spot, the menu features early morning classics, such as eggs Benedict, French toast, omelettes, and pancakes. There’s also corned beef hash, which is a top-seller.

In the afternoon, patrons stop by for soups, daily lunch specials, and sandwiches.

Nightly specials and blue plate dinners make dinnertime at the diner just as drool-worthy.

And with homemade malts and shakes, dessert is a must when at Miss Katie’s Diner.

The beverage selection doesn’t end with frozen concoctions, though, and that’s because the diner has a full bar.
