Travel Back To The ’80s At Old North Arcade, A Retro-Themed Adult Arcade In West Virginia

Yearn for the old days of spending a Friday night fighting for the high score on Galaga or Pac-Man? Located in the modern Pullman Square shopping center in Huntington, West Virginia, Old North Arcade is a barcade, combining the old-school atmosphere of a 1980s arcade with alcohol.

The bar is stocked with vintage arcade games. No need to bring quarters; buy a drink and play for free! The rotation selection of games means you may not find the same games on your second trip.

Of course, you’ll find the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game.

You’ll also find old game consoles such as Nintendo 64, as well as more active games like Hoop Fever basketball, Skee-Ball, and air hockey. Try your hand at life-size Jenga on the patio.

The beer list is a healthy mix of stalwarts you’ll find anywhere as well as regional craft beers. Come during Happy Hour (Monday thru Thursday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.) for half-off draft beers!

Enjoy one of the bar’s unique, game-themed cocktails such as the Koopa Libre or Ocarina of Lime.

Though this is technically a bar, the place is family friendly until 8 p.m. daily. Bring your kids and convert them to the low-fi pleasures of the 80’s and 90’s! One caveat: kids must come with adult supervision.
