It all started 12 years ago, when owners Stephenie and John Bowen decided to bring their passion for New York style pizza to the Northwest.

Typically, you can enjoy your pizza in the dining room or on the small patio... but due to current events, Sweet Basil has expanded their outdoor space, just like the other downtown eateries.

Walla Walla still has some sunny autumn days ahead, so you can dine under the stars for a while before winter weather arrives.

Here, the dough is hand-tossed, and it's made fresh daily.

And if you eat a lot of pizza, you know the crust can make a world of difference in the taste.

The pizzas are New York style, but the Sweet Basil team adds their own personal touches.
