Scoops & Bites is located in Bremerton, right at the ferry terminal.

We don't always encourage taking a ferry ride just for some ice cream, but when we do, you know it's going to be good.

Scoops & Bites got its start in March of 2019, so when it comes to ice cream shops, it's the new kid on the block.

However, they seem to have mastered their craft right away.

All the ice cream sold here is made on-site, so it's nice and fresh.

They source their sweet cream from Edaleen Dairy in Lynden and use 14% milk-fat sweet cream for the ultimate rich flavor.

The dessert menu here is the stuff dreams are made of, especially if you like creative flavors and combinations.

They offer almost two dozen daily flavors, plus a few seasonal flavors. And the Super Scoop Sundaes (pictured here) are to die for.

If you come hungry for lunch, you're in luck -- Scoops & Bites serves more than just ice cream.

You can enjoy a chili dog, nachos, or a premium sandwich before your dessert.

The most interesting item on the current menu is the pickle-flavored ice cream.

This may seem like a strange idea, but the flavor is surprisingly popular with guests. But it's seasonal, so if you want some, you'll have to visit soon. But if you miss it, don't worry -- the team here is always coming up with something unique.
