As an avid STK fan, even I must admit the outside looks unassuming. Don't judge a book by its cover, however. The exterior may suggest an unimaginative atmosphere, but this steakhouse is full of surprises.

As soon as you walk inside, you'll find an otherworldy space filled with bright colors and swirling architectural features. In an area where rusticness and warmth are in vogue, it's genuinely exciting to dine somewhere that takes the opposite aesthetic approach.

Despite its futuristic vibes, STK is eminently comfortable. With cushy booths, prominent floral arrangements, and thoughtful touches of art, it's a fantastic place to bring a date— even if you're just on a date with yourself!

But no interiors can make up for poor food. While Seattle has a reputation as a foodie paradise, Bellevue is no schlub. It comes as no surprise, then, that STK's offerings are crave-worthy. Best of all, there's a steak dinner service Sunday through Thursday that includes starters, entrees, sides, and desserts. This option runs $69 per diner.

Monday through Friday, STK offers a fabulous prix fixe option for $45 per guest. If you're looking to dine in a hurry before heading to a show or movie, they guarantee you'll receive full service in 45 minutes.

As a die-hard devotee of all things cheese, I recommend the arancini. These indulgent morsels are made from deep-fried risotto and are a staple of Sicilian cuisine.
