You’ve Never Tasted Pizza Quite Like The Pies Made At Fazzari’s Finest In Washington
Fazzari’s Finest in Clarkston, Washington, offers unique and delicious pizzas with fresh, homemade ingredients.
Occasionally, we'll hear someone claim that there's no good pizza in Washington... and we wonder if the person making the claim has actually eaten their way around Washington. Whether you prefer thin crust or deep dish, Sicilian or New York-style, you'll find it in practically every city. However, we have yet to come across anything quite like the pies at Fazzari's Finest in Clarkston. This pizzeria is truly one-of-a-kind.
You'll find Fazzari's Finest on Bridge Street in Clarkston, where it has been since its 1985 opening.
This has been a family owned business from the beginning.
The Fazzari brothers opened the shop together, using recipes from both their mother and father's sides of the family.
Very little has changed about the food here since the 1980s, and that's a good thing.
This isn't the kind of place that only has delicious crust or excellent sauce or the perfect amount of toppings... here, everything is good.
That's because to this family, every aspect of pizza-making is important.
The crust is homemade daily, the sauce is made on-site, and the Italian sausage is homemade.
Every topping is as fresh as possible, and the result is some seriously delicious pizza.
A few years ago, Fazzari's received national attention when they were named on Buzzfeed's 18 Pizza Joints You Must Try Before You Die list.
The particular pizza listed was The Shotsy, which has mustard sauce, Swiss and mozzarella, Polish sausage, sauerkraut, and plenty of onions. As the article stated, "It's a pie that takes the deli sandwich of your dreams and merges it seamlessly with pizza."
While the pizza is definitely the star of the show, the pasta at Fazzari's is almost as popular.
The hearty pasta is loaded with toppings and baked, much like the pizza.
Fazzari's Finest is currently open daily from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
If you live in Eastern Washington, this place is definitely worth the drive.
