To get started on your fun time trying different types of spirits at Village Garage Distillery, take VT-9 West for about an hour if you're coming from Brattleboro.

During the distillery tour, you'll get a behind-the-scenes look at the production process.

The entire tour usually lasts 45 minutes. It's then followed by a tasting of the different spirits made at the distillery.

The impressive service center was once a garage used to store equipment used by the local farm community.

Along with tasting some bourbon, whisky, and vodka, feel free to order a cocktail off of the drinks menu when you sit down for a bite to eat.

Aside from taking a tour of the distillery, one of the highlights is Village Garage's menu. In addition to trying their Smash Burger (as shown in this photo), you can also sink your teeth into a BLT, chicken with waffles, steak, and much more!

When the weather is nice, feel free to also linger over your delicious meal and drink on the restaurant's outside patio.
