There’s no doubt that we have some incredible places to eat in Utah. From fine-dining restaurants to hole-in-the-wall joints, there are tasty eateries all over the state. However, some of our favorites are found in Utah’s small towns. 7-11 Ranch Restaurant is one of the best and oldest restaurants in Vernal, Utah. It is a place with a lot of history and some of the most delicious food in this area of the state. It’s the type of place that once you know it’s there, you’ll make a special trip to Vernal just to visit.
7-11 Ranch Restaurant is the oldest existing restaurant in Vernal and you’ll find it right on Main Street. This delicious place to eat dates back to 1933 when Warren Belcher sold a cow and bought a hot dog stand. In 1949, Warren and his wife Daisy built their new place, which they named 7-11. Today, this restaurant is owned and operated by Warren’s daughter.
There is no bad time to visit 7-11 Ranch Restaurant. This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner Monday through Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
I love a good breakfast and the options at this Vernal restaurant do not disappoint. You’ll find everything from omelettes and French Toast to waffles, pancakes, and breakfast sandwiches. There are nearly a dozen salads and sandwiches on the menu as well as multiple burgers including a turkey burger and a porky burger made with homemade sausage. There are also Italian dishes, kid’s meals, health-focused meals, protein-focused meals, and so much more.
Of course, for dinner, you’ll also want to consider options like steak or seafood, as well as a few country favorites like grilled calves liver and breaded veal cutlets.
