On A Chilly Day, The Comfort Food And Homemade Pie At Marie Callender’s In Utah Hits The Spot

Marie Callender’s in Salt Lake City offers a variety of comfort food and home-baked pies in a spacious dining setting.

When the weather gets cold, comfort food is what we crave. For savory entrees and delicious, home-baked pie, head to Marie Callender's in Salt Lake City.

Utah was once home to several Marie Callender's restaurants, but in the summer of 2019, it closed its last two restaurants here. Luckily, the Millcreek location opened up again just a few months later.

You'll find this last remaining Marie Callender's restaurant at 1109 E. 3900 S., Salt Lake City, UT 84124.

The dining room is open for service, and it offers plenty of space for parties of all sizes. There's even space for banquets here.

When you first step into the lobby, you'll see a large case chock-full of home-baked pies of all flavors. Try to save room for dessert!

Settle in at your table, and your server will bring you one of the restaurant's signature items - a big hunk of warm cornbread, served with creamy butter.

The comfort food entrees on the menu are numerous, and include delicious options like home-style beef stroganoff...

...chicken pot pie...

...and savory, braised and slow-roasted pot roast.

The turkey dinner, served with mashed potatoes and gravy, apple-sage stuffing, and vegetables is another favorite, and you can also order this dinner as a take-home holiday feast that will serve up to eight people.

Hopefully, you saved some room for pie! Get a slice with or without a scoop of ice cream for a decadent dessert.

They'll also box up a slice for you to take home, or you can buy a whole pie to share with the family later.

Marie Callender's is open seven days a week, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. See the full menu, order a pie, or order a meal for pick-up or delivery on the Marie Callender's website.
