Kahve Café is not like many other coffee shops and cafes in the Salt Lake Valley. Located inside an old house at 57 South 600 East in SLC, this destination specializes in Turkish coffee and Mediterranean foods.
Fun fact: Kahve is the Turkish word for coffee.
As soon as you arrive, you’ll be impressed. As you walk inside this renovated mansion, you’ll feel like you’ve just stepped into an old friend’s house. There is an inviting and welcoming vibe that you’ll immediately feel.
You’ll want to pull up a seat and enjoy the space.
On a warm afternoon, you may want to pull up a chair outdoors and enjoy your food. Like I said, it’s pure bliss here.
This coffee shop specializes in Turkish coffee and you’ll certainly want to grab a cup. This coffee is unique because it is heated in hot sand and warmed by a hot plate.
There are many other drinks available including Turkish lemonade and tea, French Press coffee, iced tea, and more.
If you are hungry, you’ll find something to love at Kahve Café. The Baklava is one of the most popular items on the menu and a must-try item. There is also Baklava cheesecake, custard baklava, vegan baklava triangles, and more. There are many gluten-free items on the menu as well.
If you want something a little more savory, try one of the salads, dips, or seasonal food items. No matter what you order, you can’t go wrong.
