The Trolley Car Restaurant In Utah That Will Take You Right Back To The Good Old Days

Art City Trolley in Springville, Utah, offers a unique dining experience in a historic trolley car with award-winning food.

It's been decades since Utah had working trolley cars, but that doesn't mean that they're completely gone. Ruth's Diner, in Salt Lake City, has long been a popular spot to dine in a trolley, and you'll find another restaurant that's built around a trolley car down in Utah County. Take a look at Art City Trolley:

Art City Trolley opened in 1994, and it's been winning dining awards ever since. The next time you're in Springville, you definitely need to stop by.

You'll find this charming trolley restaurant at 256 N Main St, Springville, UT 84663

The front of the restaurant is right inside this 1931 Brill Bullet Trolley Car. Enjoy dining in this charming space that will take you right back to the good old days.

Just two years after Art City Trolley opened, it was evident that the restaurant needed more space, so the trolley station-style dining room was built onto it.

While this humble little restaurant started with seating for just 26 people, today it can seat up to 115, and the entire space evokes a bygone era.

You might be drawn to Art City Trolley for its atmosphere, but it's the food that will keep you coming back again and again. The salads are fresh and crisp...

...and the burgers are juicy and delicious.

The restaurant has won awards for its chicken sandwich, which starts with an herb-marinated chicken breast that's topped with monterey jack cheese, onion straws, and your choice of bbq sauce.

Pair your burger or sandwich with the rosemary and garlic fries. These things are downright addictive.

The Legendary Wings are another award-winner. These tangy morsels come in orders of 6, 10, 18, and 25, and can be slathered in one of four different sauces for the right amount of heat.

Finish off your meal with a slice of cake. The towering chocolate cake and towering carrot cake are absolutely divine.

Visit Art City Trolley Monday through Saturday, starting at 11 a.m. It closes at 9 p.m. on weekdays; 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
