In the heart of Houston's West Midtown Entertainment District, FAO is a game-changer (pun intended) in the bar scene.

You'll find it on Smith Street, not far from Discovery Green and Minute Maid Park.

Situated around a 400-square-foot bar, FAO boasts 360-degree stools, couches for lounging, and several TVs always broadcasting the most-watched spots teams.

No matter where you choose to sit, rest assured you're in for a great time.

Upon entrance, you'll feel as if you've stepped through a portal leading back to yesteryear.

Classic arcade games dominate the 6,500-square-foot space, and your inner child will come alive with giddy excitement.

You'll even see life-size versions of your favorite childhood board games like Connect 4.

Boozy juice pouch in hand, enjoy a little healthy competition with friends and strangers alike as you laugh the night away.

The drink menu is a blast from the past in the most grown-up way possible.

Handcrafted cocktails like margaritas and long island iced teas are given fun and quirky kid makeovers, some with peach ring and gummy worm garnishes and others served in Capri Sun-like containers rather than normal glasses.

So next time you need to decompress after a long day at work, grab some friends and head on over to FAO HTX.

There is a secret password, so you'll need to figure it out in order to gain access to the bar.

Address: 2303 Smith Street Suite 300, Houston, TX 77006.

Hours are 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. Monday-Friday, and 2 p.m. until 2 a.m. Saturday-Sunday.
