If you have any semblance of a sweet tooth, you must try Gourdough's in Austin. This humble food truck got its start back in 2009, and has grown into a local institution over the years.

Gourdough's specializes in donuts - but these aren't just any donuts. They're as big as your head, and every bite takes you closer to a sugar-filled nirvana.

There are over two dozen specialty creations to choose from. Chocolate lovers rave about the "Black Out" which features chocolate icing, brownie batter, brownie bites, and chocolate chips (or the "Heavenly Hash, with all of the above plus marshmallow cream).

Have little ones in tow? The "Baby Rattler," with chocolate icing, crushed Oreos, and a giant gummy snake, is popular amongst kiddos.

Plenty of fruity options are available if you prefer something a bit lighter...

...as well as a plethora of non-chocolate decadent concoctions featuring everything from peanut butter, banana, and bacon (an Elvis classic) to coconut cream filling and cream cheese icing slathered atop donut holes.

You can even go savory with the "Mother Clucker," which comes topped with fried chicken and honey butter. It's a fan favorite, for sure.

Patrons can even order a custom donut with whatever toppings their heart desires. You can hardly see the donut underneath all of this goodness!
