There’s A Crawfish Boil Outside This One H-E-B In Texas

True Texas Boil House at Beechnut H-E-B in Houston offers a popular seafood boil experience with crawfish, shrimp, and more.

Two of every Texan’s favorite things - crawfish and H-E-B - just merged, and we’re absolutely living for it. Grocery shopping works up quite an appetite, so coming out to be greeted by a massive seafood boil is basically the definition of heaven. Even if you don’t live in the Houston area, people are flocking from every corner of Texas to feast on crawfish and sweet tea. Is there anything H-E-B can’t do?

Located right outside the Beechnut H-E-B in Houston, True Texas Boil House has garnered statewide attention since opening in late January.

Plenty of outdoor seating provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy a breezy springtime afternoon. Head to the walk-up order window and peruse the menu before grabbing a table.

In traditional seafood boil style, there's not only crawfish but shrimp and snow crab as well. Add in some corn-on-the-cob and red potatoes, and you've got yourself a meal that rivals even the finest Gulf Coast eateries. Pair your feast with a tall glass of sweet tea for a stereotypical Texas experience.

Fried baskets are also available, featuring shrimp, catfish, or a combination of both. Two sides come with each order; options include Cajun fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw, seasoned corn, and seasoned potatoes. You also get to choose between remoulade, tartar, cocktail, sweet chili, and roasted garlic scampi for dipping sauce. And don't even think about leaving without a bowl of rich, creamy homemade banana pudding!

You'll find the restaurant at 10100 Beechnut
