The Beautiful Restaurant Tucked Away In A South Dakota Forest Most People Don’t Know About

The beautiful town of Hot Springs, nestled on the south end of the Black Hills National Forest, is famous of its hot springs. Folks come from all to soak in the healing springs, but they sometimes miss one of Hot Springs' most incredible offerings. Wolly's Grill and Cellar serves up some of the best prime rib you'll ever eat...and it offers a dining experience you won't forget.

Woolly's Grill & Cellar is a family-owned restaurant that's been serving up delicious steak, burgers and prime rib for more than 10 years. It's located at 1648 US HWY 18, Hot Springs.

The restaurant is huge, so there's plenty of seating and you won't feel cramped or crowded, even when it's busy.

Dine on the deck for a great view of the mountains.

The coffee bar serves espresso, blended smoothies and good, old-fashioned coffee all day long.

The burgers are one of the specialties here. You'll find seven different burgers to choose from. All are made Angus beef, in 1/3 or 1/2 pound sizes.

Woolly's also has a wide variety of steaks to choose from, but the prime rib is the specialty here.

The dry-rubbed, aged Angus, slow-roasted prime rib is offered all week long. It's served with a merlot reduced au-jus and it will absolutely melt in your mouth.

With the extensive varieties of wine in the cellar, you'll certainly find the perfect pairing for your meal.

Try one of Woolly's own beers while you're here. They brew their own, and if you love it you can get a growler to take with you.

Save room for dessert, because the homemade fried cheesecake is to die for.

Visit Woolly's during their summer hours of 11 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week.
