This Tasty South Dakota Restaurant Is Home To The Biggest Steak We’ve Ever Seen
Legends Steakhouse in Deadwood, South Dakota, offers a historic dining experience with the largest prime rib cut.
Here in South Dakota, we love our steak! Sure, steak isn't as iconic or state-specific as chislic, hot beef sandwiches, or Indian tacos, but when we are craving something juicy and mouthwatering, we know that we have a hunger that only fresh beef can satisfy. Hungry? Then meet us at this tasty SoDak restaurant that is home to the biggest steak we've ever seen:
Located in Deadwood is the iconic Legends Steakhouse, which is home to "Legendary Dining in a Legendary Place."
Housed within the famous Franklin Hotel, Legends is cloaked in a rich history, as the hotel housing the restaurant has served the likes of Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft, as well as Babe Ruth and John Wayne.
While these distinguished guests of the Franklin may seem like the area's biggest celebrities, the real star of the show is the menu, which includes the biggest and most delicious cut of prime rib you have ever tasted.
Let's all take a moment to sit here and drool (and not judge each other), shall we?
In addition to the enormous slab of perfectly cooked prime rib, your meal comes with your choice of side, plus soup or salad.
While the dining room may make the restaurant seem like it is very pricy, it is actually surprisingly affordable!
Legends Steakhouse is located inside the Franklin Hotel (709 Main St in Deadwood) and is open for dinner Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
