Step Into A Charleston Streetscape At The Most Creative Dining Space In Florence, South Carolina
Have you ever entered a restaurant and felt as though you may have stepped into another world somehow? For me, sometimes the dining space is just as important as the food. This is what dining at Red Bone Alley, SC is like! It's an experience you're not likely to find anywhere else and an absolute must-visit for those who love Charleston. That's right – just wait until you see what's inside!
Red Bone Alley, SC is located on West Palmetto Street in the Florence Mall in the area where JCPenney once was.
The owner of Red Bone Alley worked as a bartender, cook, and waiter while in college at the College of Charleston, dreaming of one day owning his own restaurant.
When one day came, the second story was added onto this space and the most beautiful, magical Charleston streetscape was created, with lowcountry landscape murals painted by Charleston artist David Boatwright. Just look at these Red Bone Alley photos.
There is really so much to love about Red Bone Alley, SC.
You'll even recognize the hue you've seen at the Charleston Pink House (one of the oldest buildings in the state).
You can't miss the play area with toys and an ice cream truck serving both kids and ice cream. No wonder why the Red Bone Alley restaurant reviews are so good!
On the Red Bone Alley menu, you'll find fresh and innovative regional cuisine, including dishes like Low Country Shrimp and Grits (a customer favorite), Farmer's Bowl, and Angels on Horseback, just to name a few.
When I ate here for Mother's Day, I got the shrimp and grits, which have a unique flair with fried shrimp. I really enjoyed them.
We recommend saving room for dessert. You wouldn't want to miss out on Oreo Cheesecake, now, would you? This Red Bone Alley photo just about makes me drool! Check for weekly dessert specials such as Camp Fire Fondue – oh my!
I ordered the Pound Cake Panini dessert and it was incredible!
