Troop PVD in Providence offers a unique dining experience with 90s hip hop culture and creative fusion cuisine.

What happens when you combine the culinary talents of a local caterer, the knowledge of a brewery owner, and the creativity of some fantastic artists? When it comes to Rhode Island, the answer appears to be Troop PVD, a street food based eatery that will win your heart (and your stomach) easily. The next time you find yourself hungry in Providence, you'll definitely want to check this place out.

The 90s are alive in Providence's Olneyville neighborhood, thanks to Troop.

The concept of the eatery was created by Revival Brewery owner and operator Sean Larkin and Laughing Gorilla Catering,

The space pays homage to 90s hip hop culture with its skateboard props and vibrant colors.

Stepping inside feels a bit like going back in time.

The goal was to create s space like no other, and it's safe to say they succeeded.

The space was designed by Kyla Coburn and her team of local artists, who painted murals and created a sculpture out of boomboxes.

The vibe here is warm and welcoming, and it's a perfect gathering spot for groups or for a date.

You can expect to hear 90s tunes playing at any given time.

The food is outstanding, but don't expect your standard burger menu here.

While the menu changes regularly, you'll always see tasty options like grilled cheese, street noodles, and Banh Mi sandwiches.

Fusion is the name of the game here, so come prepared to try some creative cuisine.

Luckily, it's all exceptionally delicious, and you really can't go wrong.

Troop is open from 11:30 - 1 a.m. most days, but on Friday and Saturday, they're open from 9 a.m. - 2 a.m.

You can order your meal online and get it to-go, but there's nothing like enjoying it at the restaurant while Reggae plays in the background.

Check out Troop's menu and some colorful photos here.
